Load simulator connected to Chiller
DTE Energy commissioned Tech Mechanical, Inc. to design and build a load simulator for a heat and power system with a 120-ton absorption chiller. The simulator is controlled by a Honeywell Excel 5000 system.
Project: Air Products and Controls (APC)
Air Products and Controls (APC) contracted Tech Mechanical, Inc. to build and install a smoke test chamber.
The smoke chamber is used to test and develop new smoke detectors for UL certification. The smoke test chamber is capable of delivering 100 cfm to 5,000 cfm with an accuracy range of +/- 5%.
